自從微信整治朋友圈違規“打卡”行爲後，朋友圈明顯清淨了許多。

“打卡”一詞來自職場，原指“在專門的機器上記錄工作的時間（to record the time you arrive at work on a special machine）”，英文翻譯可爲“clock in”。但在網絡傳播後，衍生成爲“對某種堅持事宜或態度的記錄”，如“每日打卡”英文可以翻譯爲“daily attendance”。

而“網紅地打卡”一般表示“在某個網紅地點拍照，然後發朋友圈記錄”，可以翻譯爲“take the perfect Wechat Moments snap at an internet-famous site”。
